Every day when I walk to and from the subway to go to work, I get to pass by some of my decorations in action. That's because I created a window display for the wine store a few doors down from my apartment in June (it's a great little shop with a great hand selected selection of wine and specialty liquor called Free Range Wine).
I decided to offer my services because there was a local wedding event taking place that weekend and I though it would be a good opportunity to promote Sparkle Motion Decor. I had 2 days to make something and a slew of Etsy orders to work on so I decided to create a multi-layered tissue tassel garland, and tissue paper flowers to stick in the empty wine bottles the owner keeps in the windows. I also provided some matching drink stirrers with my contact info on them, some cake topper garlands, and some cute trays, cake stands, and tablecloth for the table display.
The owner of the shop said he'd display the decorations as long as I'd like and he keeps asking me for more drink stirrers with my contact info because he has now run out! I really enjoyed making this window display and hope that I'll have an opportunity to create more displays later this year!
